Bentala Salon
No room for a tree at Bentala Salon located at 224 South Caswell in Charlotte but we did have a little space to create this beautiful mantle piece with golds & reds.

Panache Designs created this cute little wall tree for Duke's Grill. It has cheeseburgers, hot dogs, French fries, Coke bottles, eggs & milk ornaments. Dennis Parker, owner of one of Monroe's oldest establishments loved the tree. Stop by and get yourself one of the BEST hamburgers in town and check out his tree. They are open Tues - Sat. 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and are located at the corner of Phifer St & Concord Ave. (Beside Benton Heights School)

Mele Kalikimaka
Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say,
On a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day,
That's the island greeting that we send to you
From the land where palm trees sway,
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright,
The sun to shine by day and all the stars at night,
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way
To say "Merry Christmas to you."
This design was so much fun to work with. It consisted of a an 8ft palm tree decorated with cute little flamingos, tropical fish and even a kiddie swimming pool underneath the tree with sand. It is on display at LaVida Mocha Coffee Shop in the Market Square Shopping Center and will be there thru Labor Day. Stop by to get a great cup of coffee, meet Burak, Irem & Chad and check out the tree. This tree is for rent or for sale. If interested please let me know.
On the next post below is "An Island Christmas Slideshow". Click on View All Images in order to see up close details of this tree and the cute little ornaments.

A Very Special Thank You
Hello Everyone - thank you so very much for stopping by to check out my blogspot. I'm honored you were here. There are many friends and family members that I need to thank for all of their love and support to me as I began this venture by "Faith" in March. First of all, I would like to thank the Lord for this wonderful opportunity He has given me to start this new business. I pray that I will always glorify Him in everything that I do because He is the "Real Reason for the Holiday Season" To my wonderful bosses - Jim & Amy thank you for your patience & support for letting me do ALOT of prep work while on their time clock. To Jim for introducing me to the word "Panache" and for his willingness to take the beautiful pictures of each of my designs. To Burak, Irem & Chad for promoting me and their great support. To Nancy for helping me with the typeface and slogan for my business. To Derrick for his endless hours of taking the typeface and slogan and putting it into the perfect logo because I was so dang picky. To my special friend Myra who did the layout for my blog and has taught me how to use the blog. To my best friend Shellee who has helped so tremendously with the in's and out's of the buying market and to my wonderful sister, Cindy who has been a huge encourager the whole way. I LOVE YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH and couldn't have done this without you!

Celebrating Christmas in July
I'm sure it's really hard for each of you to even begin to think about Christmas while we're having these 80, 90 & even 100 degree temperatures. But as of today we only have 178 more days until then. It will be here before you know it and I'm always like a little child anxiously waiting for it!
When I began this venture 4 months ago I thought launching the business in July with a "Christmas in July" theme would be perfect. La Vida Mocha coffee shop was so gracious to offer to promote my business by choosing a patriotic themed tree for their shop. I've included in the post titled "La Vida Mocha Celebrates Christmas in July Slideshow", which is below, some pictures of their patriotic tree. Also in each of my other posts are a few shots of some other designs, please be sure to check them all out if you have the time. Unfortunately I didn't have a great deal of digital photos to include for my launch and the 35mm ones that I had scanned didn't look very good. So keep checking back with me as I add more photos to the blog.
During the middle of this month I will have the opportunity to travel to one of the world's largest buyer's mart, to check out the latest trends for the 2008 holiday season. I'm very excited to see all the décor that will be there and available to purchase for my clients. This year why not let Panache Designs help you by creating for your home, office or shop a warm, beautiful and inviting atmosphere for your friends and clientèle. Our services range from assembling your current tree and decorations to creating a unique holiday décor especially for you. What goes up must come down and we also offer disassembling and storage services as well. All you have to do is make a telephone call to book your exclusive engagement with Panache Designs today while spaces are still available and your worries for a unique holiday décor are over.

La Vida Mocha Celebrates Christmas in July
La Vida Mocha - Monroe's Specialty Coffee House celebrates Christmas in July with a patriotic themed tree. I think this design has been one of my most favorite as it honors some of my American Heroes - My husband's grandfather Carl Haywood, my father-in-law Jack Haywood, my father Robert Harris and my brother-in-law Jim Stegall. In the post below click on the slideshow's "View All Images" to see close up details of this special tree.
Be sure to go by and experience "Livin La Vida Mocha" during the month of July and meet Burak, Irem & Chad. You won't find a better cup of coffee anywhere. La Vida Mocha is NOT some "bucks" coffee. While you're there check out the tree - it will be on display during the whole month.
Visit La Vida Mocha's website to check out their complete list of coffees, frappes, lattes, & shakes by clicking under "Visit My Friends" on the right side of the blog.

An Elegant Black Tree
Yes - this is a black tree and not a spray painted one either!
While shopping in Gatlinburg, TN a few years ago I found this gorgeous black tree. Our master bedroom had black furniture in it and I thought this tree would be perfect in there. However, my husband didn't feel quite the same. He threatened to divorce me if I bought one more tree. So I left that cute little shop in Tennessee without the tree and like any other red-blooded American married woman, I went home called the manufacturer and had it shipped to my home ASAP. (By the way I'm still married - he didn't divorce me after all)
If anyone is interested in purchasing this tree and ornaments please feel free to give me a call. In the post below check out the slideshow by clicking on "View All Images" for up close details of the black tree.

A Purple & Teal Christmas
I'm sure you've all figured out by now that my favorite color is purple. This design was created with that in mind using teal as the contrasting color. In the top of the tree is a white dove and it was part of a beautiful floral arrangement sent to us when my father-in-law, Jack Haywood, passed away. Each year as I place the white dove in the top of the tree I think of him and it brings a smile to my face.
If anyone would be interested in purchasing this tree and ornaments, with the exception of the white dove, please feel free to give me a call. Click on the slideshow in the next post "View All Images" for up close details of the purple & teal tree.

Gone Fishing
This tree was created for my father who is 85 years old and LOVES to fish. Just within the last couple of years I have had the wonderful privelege of joining him on a few fishing trips down at the coast. I have actually come to enjoy fishing myself. The design is made with actual fishing lures, live cat tails & foxtails that I found growing on the side of the road and many cute little fishing ornaments I was able to find while shopping. If you look closely in the picture frame shaped like a fish to the left of the tree, you can see a picture of him holding a "big" bass he caught from his pier on Lake Twitty. Daddy really enjoyed having the fishing tree.

A Silver Lining Christmas
In 2004, my best friend, Shellee Comer, who owns The Silver Lining in Monroe, had a Christmas Girl's Night Out. It was alot of fun, we dressed in evening gowns and even had door men in tuxedos to greet the guest. This tree was designed for the event with the use of vintage jewelry, hats, handbags, gloves and even a red fox stole.
The Silver Lining has a wonderful selection of ladies jewelry, handbags, apparel and accessories. Click on the link in the right column under "Visit My Friends" and check out her shoppe:

Christmas Wedding Décor
In December 2000 I was asked to create a design for a groom's rehearsal dinner. He enjoyed deer hunting and the forest design included a waterfall and a family of deer to enhance the groom's table.

Baseball Theme Tree
This tree was created for my grandson, Josh, who is a HUGE Boston Red Sox fan. He didn't believe I could actually wire his bat, ball & glove into this 4 foot tree and was thrilled with it when I finished.
